Justice Babar Sattar remarked: “Bigg Boss is listening to everyone, you must be careful”.

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Thursday ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to conduct forensics on the leaked audio of senior lawyer Latif Khosa and former Prime Minister Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi.
According to the details, the IHC ordered an investigation on the case related to the audio leak of Latif Khosa and Bushra Bibi as to where the audio was released in the first place.
Justice Babar Sattar of IHC stated that Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) should answer that how private conversations of people can be aired on TV channels?
The judge while clearing the objections raised on the petition inquired about the objection of the registrar office.
Latif Khosa said that their objection is to file a separate appeal, how can we file a separate application. A separate plea may be filed in an audio leaks case, a privilege over attorney-client communications.
Justice Babar Sattar remarked: “Bigg Boss is listening to everyone, you must be careful”. To which there was laughter in the court.
The judge of IHC asked who is recording the audio. On which Latif Khosa replied that everyone knows who records the audios. Justice Babar added that they cannot proceed on the assumption.
Latif Khosa added that this is not only his problem, in fact it is the problem of the lawyers of the whole country. If a lawyer cannot talk freely with the client, how will the judicial system work?
Islamabad High Court Justice Babar Sattar inquired if the audio was launched on social media? On which Latif Khosa said that the audio was also broadcast by all the TV channels.
Justice Sattar continued that if it was first released on Twitter (X) or somewhere else? If the release platform is identified then it can be known who recorded it at the first hand.
Latif Khosa said PEMRA by the way shuts the screen even when saying someone's name. He added that nobody talks to him now stating that his phone is not safe.
Justice Babar Sattar ordered to send a copy of the application to Director General (DG) Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) saying that he should also report who released the audio.
The court issued notices to FIA, PEMRA and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on the issue of audio leak of Bushra Bibi and Latif Khosa and adjourned the case till December 11 for further hearing.
