The court, after examining the response of the public prosecutor and hearing the arguments of the parties, pronounced its verdict.

Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) Monday ordered to release Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senior Vice-President Sher Afzal Marwat.
According to the details, Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry of LHC heard the petition against the detention of PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat, in which Khawaja Mohsin Abbas Advocate submitted a reply in the court on behalf of the government.
In the government's response, it has been said that the notification of the detention of Sher Afzal was issued by the Deputy Commissioner. The petitioners against his detention should refer to the relevant forum. They should first apply to the government against the detention of Sher Afzal Marwat and the court will reject the petition with detention order.
The court, after examining the response of the public prosecutor and hearing the arguments of the parties, pronounced its verdict and ordered the release of Sher Afzal Marwat.
It also ordered the release of the deputy commissioner after submitting a surety bond.
It is pertinent to note that Lahore Police arrested PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat under 3MPO on his return from LHC a few days ago.
