Magnitude 5.8 earthquake shakes Islamabad
The Seismological Center said that the depth of the earthquake was 140 km underground.
Islamabad: Earthquake shocks of magnitude 5.8 have been felt in the capital Islamabad and its surroundings on Monday.
According to the seismological center, strong tremors of the earthquake were felt in the federal capital Islamabad and its surroundings, with a magnitude of 5.8.
The earthquake was so intense that people came out of shops, offices and houses reciting Holy verses.
The Seismological Center said that the depth of the earthquake was 140 km underground while its epicenter was Duda occupied Kashmir.
It is pertinent to note that no loss of life or property have been reported as yet due to the earthquake,
