The daughter of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto says PPP is committed to addressing women’s rights.


Tando Allahyar: Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, the daughter of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, said that if Bilawal Bhutto Zardari assumed the role of Prime Minister, his primary agenda would be dedicated to serving the people.
Aseefa Bhuto reminisced about the historical legacy of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, emphasizing her relentless advocacy for women's rights.
She was addressing a gathering at Rizvi House in Tando Allahyar on Wednesday.
Aseefa expressed grief over tragic loss of Shaheed Bibi. However, she underscored that the Pakistan Peoples Party's (PPP) is committed to addressing the women's rights through initiatives like the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).
She also reflecting on the impact of BISP, saying that how numerous women, empowered by the program, had been able to educate their children and achieve self-reliance.
Contrasting the PPP's approach with that of other political parties, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari asserted that while some parties were contributing to the impoverishment of the people, the PPP, under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, stood as the sole advocate fighting for the rights of the people.
As the political landscape gears up for the upcoming elections on February 8, Aseefa urged the public to endorse Bilawal Bhutto by casting their votes in his favor.
She stressed the profound influence of the vote, recalling the historic moment when Zulfikar Ali Bhutto secured nuclear power for Pakistan. Encouraging the electorate to place their trust in the arrow symbol associated with the PPP, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari expressed confidence that victory on February 8 would be a triumph for the people and their rights.
