ATC summons Imran, Sheikh Rashid on Feb 6
Anti-Terrorism court (ATC) heard the May 9 cases against founder PTI and Sheikh Rashid.
Rawalpindi: Former Speaker of Punjab Assembly Wasiq Qayyum, former Member of National Assembly Sadaqat Abbasi and Umar Tanveer Butt became sworn witnesses in the May 9 cases against founder Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Imran Khan and Sheikh Rasheed.
According to the details, the Anti-Terrorism court (ATC) heard the May 9 cases against founder PTI and Sheikh Rashid. Sadaqat Abbasi, Wasiq Qayyum and Umar Tanveer Butt recorded the statement of 154 in court.
PTI-backed candidate Ajmal Saber in NA-53 also became a sworn witness against Sheikh Rashid, Ajmal Saber is in police custody.
Ajmal Saber said that Sheikh Rashid had called a meeting in Lal Haveli on May 6 where the planning of May 9 was done. The planning of May 9 was done at the behest of Sheikh Rashid, Raja Basharat, Rashid Shafiq, Ejaz Khan Jazi, Rashid Hafeez and the founder of PTI.
Therefore, ATC summoned PTI founder Sheikh Rashid and Rashid Shafiq on February 6.
