PTI’s independent candidates win 73, PML-N 48, PPP 35 NA seats

According to the inconclusive results of the National Assembly so far, independent candidates supported by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have won five seats.

Islamabad: After polling in the general elections in Pakistan, the results continue to come and so far, the unofficial and inconclusive results of only a few constituencies of the National Assembly have come out.

The polling process for the general elections continued from 8:00am to 5:00pm and millions of people exercised their right to vote.

According to the unofficial and inconclusive results of the National Assembly so far, independent candidates supported by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have won 73 seats, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) 48 seats and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) 35 seats.

Independent candidate supported by PTI

According to the complete unofficial and inconclusive results of all 309 polling stations of NA-3 Swat, PTI-backed independent candidate Saleem Rehman was declared successful with 81411 votes, while PML-N's Wajid Ali Khan came second with 27861 votes.

PTI-backed independent candidate Muhammad Nawaz Khan won by securing 24686 votes in all 278 polling stations of NA-13 Bitgram. Rah Haq Party's Atta Muhammad was second with 18130 votes.

According to the unofficial results of all 324 polling stations of NA-17 Abbottabad 2, independent candidate Ali Khan Jadoon won with 97177 votes. Muslim League-N's Mohabbat Khan Awan came second with 44522 votes.

The unofficial results of 267 out of 267 polling stations in NA-30 Peshawar showed that independent candidate Shandana Gulzar Khan supported by PTI was declared successful as she got 78,971 votes while Nasir Khan of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) came second with 20,950 votes.

According to the unofficial results of NA-121 Lahore, PTI-backed independent candidate Waseem Qadir was declared successful with 78803 votes. Muslim League-N's Rohail Asghar was second with 70597 votes.

PML-N

According to the unofficial results of all 311 polling stations in NA-55 Rawalpindi, Malik Abrar Ahmed of PML-N won with 78542 votes. PTI-backed independent candidate Muhammad Basharat Raja came second with 67,101 votes.

According to the unofficial and inconclusive results of all 459 polling stations of NA-58 Chakwal, PML-N’s Major (retd) Tahir Iqbal won with 115974 votes. PTI-backed independent candidate K Ayaz Ameer secured 102,537 votes.

PML-N President and former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif won the National Assembly seat from Lahore.

According to the unofficial and unofficial result of NA-123, Shahbaz Sharif was declared successful by getting 63953 votes while PTI supported independent candidate Afzal Azim Pahat is second with 48486 votes.

According to the unofficial results of all 301 polling stations of NA-167 Bahawalpur 4, Muhammad Usman Owaisi of PML-N won by securing 78970 votes.

Independent candidate Malik Amir Yar Waren was second with 42500 votes.

According to the unofficial results of all 370 polling stations of NA-135 Okara 1, Nadeem Abbas Rabira of PML-N won by getting 107862 votes.

Independent candidate Malik Muhammad Akram Bhatti was second with 90443 votes.

PPP

Nafisa Shah of PPP won from NA-202 Khairpur 1. According to the incomplete unofficial results of all 305 polling stations, Nafeesa Shah was declared successful with 121756 votes while Syed Ghos Ali Shah of Grand Democratic Alliance came second with 26745 votes.

PPP's Zulfiqar Bachani won by 115000 votes in NA-217 Tando Ullahyar in all 331 polling stations in the unofficial and unofficial results. Grand Democratic Alliance's Raheela Mugsi came second with 69,900 votes.

According to the unofficial results of all 365 polling stations of NA-199 Ghotki 2, Ali Gohar Meher of Peoples Party won by getting 154832 votes. Abdul Qayyum of JUI-F came second with 40,204 votes.
