Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples party (PPP) and other allied parties have failed to take Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam’s (JUI) president Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman’s consent in voting.

According to the details, a delegation of allied parties’ committee has reached to Fazl-ur-Rehman’s house to ask his vote in the house for the post of prime minister and president. This committee was chaired by PPP’s senior vice president Yusuf Raza Gillani.

This committee’s delegation included Ahsan Iqbal, Ayaz Sadiq, Saad Rafique, Rana Tanvir, Khursheed Shah, Naveed Qamar, Sadiq Sanjrani, Khalid Magsi, Senator Abdul Qadir, Istehkam Pakistan Party’s president Abdul Aleem Khan and Pakistan Muslim League-Q’s (PML-Q) leader Saliq Hussain others.

In this meeting, the country’s current political situation has been discussed by the allied parties. After the meeting the allied parties talked to media.

PML-N’s leader Ayaz Sadiq stated that all the allied parties have come to Fazl-ur-Rehman’s house to ask his vote in the house for the post of prime minister and president.

He said that PML-N is a democratic party and there is a relationship of respect towards Fazl-ur-Rehman. Maulana also raised concerns regarding the party but he did not show his consent to vote in house in the favor of allied parties.
