Islamabad: Pakistan’s 14th presidential elections will be held tomorrow (Saturday) on March 9.

According to the details, Pakistan Peoples party’s (PPP) president Asif Ali Zardari and Sunni Ittehad Council’s (SIC) leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai both are the candidates for presidency. In these elections four provincial assemblies, senate and national assembly’s members will give vote.

Under the constitution for presidential elections, chief election commissioner will be the returning officer whereas in the national and provincial assemblies the polling will be conducted from 10am to 4pm.

On the Ballot paper, voter will mark a cross in front of the nominated candidate’s name with a specific pencil amid his favorite one.

The presidential elections conducted through the electoral college. It will be mandatory for the voters to bring their national, provincial assembly and senate’s identity card in the polling area.

However, if the voter will mark such kind of sign which identified his personality then his vote will not be considered as valid.
