First, third year admissions open before matric, inter results in Punjab

Lahore: For the first time in Punjab, instructions were issued to open admissions in first year and third year before the results of matriculation and intermediate.

The regular notification for opening admissions in Intermediate-I and Bachelors has also been issued in Punjab before the results.

According to the notification, the purpose of opening the admissions before the results is to attract bright students to the government colleges.

The notification stated that the admission in the first year will be based on the results of the ninth class, while the admission in the third year will be on the basis of results of Intermediate-I.
