KP govt announces special Eid package for deserving
Under the package, Rs10,000 will be given to 1,000 deserving people in each constituency of the provincial assembly which will cost Rs1.15 billion.
Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet has approved giving Eid packages to the deserving people of the province.
According to the details, the second meeting of the provincial cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, in which approval was given to give Eid packages to the deserving people of the province.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Adviser Muzamil Aslam says that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced a Ramadan package of 8.5 billion rupees in which 500,000 families have directly benefited.
Muzamil Aslam stated that Chief Minister Ali Amin has announced an Eid package for those deserving people who were not registered in the Ehsaas program.
Under the package, 10,000 rupees will be given to 1,000 deserving people in each constituency of the provincial assembly which will cost 1.15 billion rupees, added the adviser.
On the other hand, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also announced an Eid package of Rs10,000 for 2,050 families of martyred police officers.
