PM reiterates commitment for fool proof security to Chinese workers
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says a high level inquiry of the incident is being concluded and we will waste no time to act on inquiry recommendations in letter and spirit.
Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday reiterated the commitment to ensure fool proof security to Chinese workers in Pakistan and pledged to hunt down the perpetrators of Dasu incident at the earliest.
He was addressing the Chinese workers at Dasu during his visit to Koshistan to express condolence with the Chinese brothers over the loss of lives in the terrorist incident that took place on 26th of last month.
The incident took lives of five Chinese and one Pakistani.
The Prime Minister said a high level inquiry of the incident is being concluded and we will waste no time to act on inquiry recommendations in letter and spirit.
He said we had a very high level security meeting and held detailed discussions on this sad incident and discussed better coordination with the provinces to augment the security measures for our Chinese brothers.
Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said it was a cowardly act that killed innocent Chinese and Pakistani. He said the sole purpose of this incident was to damage the exceptional friendship between China and Pakistan which is the job of our enemies.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reassured the Chinese workers that best possible security arrangements will be provided to them including their families living in Pakistan.
The perpetrators will get exemplary punishment so they become lesson for the rest .
The Prime Minister said our friendship will march forward and the enemies of this friendship will be defeated comprehensively.
