Imran Khan's acquittal petition filed in May 9 cases

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan's petition for acquittal in May 9 cases was filed.
District and Sessions Court Islamabad heard the case related to the incidents of May 9 registered in Khanna Police station against PTI founder.

Judicial Magistrate Sohaib Bilal inquired if the challan of the case against former Prime Minister Imran Khan PTI has been collected and that how many cases are left against him.
Lawyer Naeem Panjutha said that PTI founder's Tosha Khana sentence has been suspended, the sentences in illegal marriage case, cypher case are still pending while the bail is to be posted in the 190 million pound scam case.
The court issued a notice on the plea of acquittal of PTI founder and called for arguments on May 15.
