Islamabad: The Islamabad high court (IHC) has directed director general immigration (DG) to issue a passport to member national assembly Zain Qureshi for going abroad.
According to the details, chief justice Aamir Farooq heard the plea of Zain Qureshi regarding withdraw his name from stop list and passport issuance. From applicant’s side lawyer Syed Ali Bokhari appeared in the court.
During the hearing, justice Aamir Farooq inquired from the applicant’s lawyer that what is the problem. On which lawyer replied that the problem is that the applicant wants to go abroad but it was told that the passport got expire.
Applicant’s lawyer Ali Bokhari pleaded that the instructions should be given to DG immigration to issue a new passport. If Zain will have passport then he will go abroad and his name should be removed from no-fly list and exit control list (ECL).
Later then the court approved the plea of Zain Qureshi, issued notices to parties and postponed the hearing till April 29.
