Ottawa: Senior Supreme Court Judge Justice Mansoor Ali Shah Tuesday met the Canadian Chief Justice in Ottawa, Canada.
In this regard, the announcement issued by the Pakistan High Commission in Canada stated that judicial cooperation and increasing bilateral relations were discussed in the meeting.
According to the statement, the judges emphasized the importance of continuing judicial education and training and agreed to initiate an exchange program for judges and judicial officers.
The statement said that the meeting reviewed the possibilities of cooperation between Judicial Academy Pakistan and Judicial Institute Canada, emphasising the importance of judicial independence and ethics.

On this occasion, Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah said: “The aim of these measures is to create deep understanding in the legal system”.
