Anti-polio campaign completes in 14 districts of Balochistan

Quetta: The special anti-polio campaign has been completed in 14 districts of Balochistan, while the campaign is still ongoing in other six districts.

According to the Emergency Operation Center, the anti-polio campaign is still ongoing in six districts of Balochistan.

The Emergency Operations Center said that today is the third day of the campaign in Dera Bugti, Sibi, Sahabpur, Jafarabad, Austa Mohammad and Naseerabad.

According to the Emergency Operation Center, the anti-polio campaign in these six districts was postponed due to the heat wave, which will now continue till June 14.

It is pertinent to note that during the anti-polio campaign in 20 districts of Balochistan, the target was set of immunising more than 1.8 million children against polio.
