Lahore: On the second day of Eid-ul-Adha, people continued to perform Sunnah Ibrahimi throughout the country.
Animals are being sacrificed in different places of the country including Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, and Peshawar from the morning of the second day of Eid.
The butchers continued to show off on the second day as well as they charged exorbitant prices to sacrifice the animals.
On the other hand, yesterday's guests will become hosts today. Delicious dishes will be prepared in the homes on the second day of Eid as well. The citizens have started preparing for lunch after breakfast.
Even on the first day of Eid, after performing Sunnah Ibrahimi, the women took over the kitchen, prepared delicious food. While delicious food continued to be prepared in the homes, the children were saddened when the beloved animals were sacrificed.
It is pertinent to note that apart from this, the garbage is picked up in time at some places after the sacrifice. While in some places, people face problems due to pollution caused by the trash lying in the residential areas and roads.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of Eid, there was a rush of people to entertainment and recreational places. A large number of citizens have turned to Murree, Galiat, and northern areas.
