Magnitude 7.3 earthquake in Chile

Santiago: Strong earthquake shocks have been felt in the South American country of Chile.

According to the Seismological Center, a 7.3-magnitude earthquake struck northern Chile with its epicenter 164 miles from the coastal city of Antofagasta.

The depth of the earthquake has been recorded at 126 km.

According to foreign media reports, no loss of life or property has been reported so far after the tremors of the severe earthquake.
