Balochistan’s finance minister to present provincial budget for FY 2021-22 today
Quetta: Finance Minister Balochistan Zahoor Ahmed Buledi will present the provincial budget for FY 2021-22 today.
According to details, the total volume of the budget is about Rs 500 billion, out of which Rs 140 billion is likely to be set aside for development.
The ‘tax-free’ budget has proposed 10 to 15% increase in the salaries of government employees, while the budget deficit for the next financial year will be around Rs 100 billion.
Zahoor Ahmed Baledi claimed that he will present the best budget of the province for the next financial year.
Reportedly, Rs 40 billion is proposed to be allocated for health, while Rs 90 billion is likely to be set aside for education.
It is proposed to allocate Rs. 60 billion for law and order during the next financial year.
