Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan announced a conditional apology on the May 9 tragedy.

Founder PTI Imran Khan while talking informally to journalists in the courtroom said: “We were oppressed, 10,000 of our people were put in jail, we were not allowed to contest elections, our party was banned, we are the victims of the May 9 tragedy, we want justice”.

Imran stated that they have also told the Chief Justice that human rights have been violated. Their petition of May 25 was not heard. If even a single PTI worker appears in the CCTV footage, he will apologise.

He added that if any of his workers were involved in the May 9 tragedy, ‘he will expel him from the party. We will never talk to the government with Form-47. Forgiveness is sought by the one who has made a mistake, we have made no mistake.

PTI founder further said that his, Nawaz Sharif, Asif Zardari, and Shehbaz Sharif’s names should be added to the Exit Control List (ECL).
