PM lands in Balochistan amid law & order situation
Shehbaz Sharif will also preside over the apex committee meeting in Quetta
Quetta: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday reached Quetta on a one-day visit.
Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti, Speaker Balochistan Assembly Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, and other officials welcomed Shahbaz Sharif at the airport.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal, Mohsin Naqvi, and Jam Kamal have also accompanied the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister will preside over a special meeting related to law and order in Quetta today, in which top civil and military officials including the Army Chief and Federal Ministers will also participate.
Apart from this, Shehbaz Sharif will also preside over the apex committee meeting in Quetta.
It is pertinent to note that three days ago, more than 50 people were killed in successive incidents of terrorism in different districts of Balochistan, while 21 terrorists were killed and 14 youths were martyred during the operation against terrorists.
