Toshakhana II case: IHC grants bail to Bushra Bibi
Bushra Bibi is imprisoned in Adiala Jail
Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Wednesday approved the bail of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi in Toshakhana II case against the bail bond of Rs1 million.
IHC Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb heard the bail plea of Bushra in the Toshakhana II case.
At the beginning of the hearing, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Prosecutor Umair Majeed appeared in the court and opened the arguments.
In the court, Justice Miangul said that if you or the Deputy Attorney General get a chance, go to Azerbaijan and see that there is a museum where gifts are kept.
Justice Miangul stated that the gifts received by the presidents of the world are kept there with their photos.
He added that Yasir Arafat's gift of the model of Al-Aqsa Mosque is also there. He went there and kept looking for it. ‘I saw the picture of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed there’.
Justice Mian further said that unfortunately no picture of any other Pakistani ruler or personality was seen there.
Later IHC granted bail to Bushra Bibi in Tosha Khana II case.
Bushra Bibi's bail application was approved in the Tosha Khana II case and she was ordered to be released on bail. Hassan Aurangzeb also issued orders for her release.
