Elahi's appeal for exemption from attendance in corruption case approved
Court adjourned further hearing on the reference till November 20
Lahore: The Accountability Court Tuesday approved the request of former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi to pardon his appearance in reference of alleged corruption in development projects.
Judge Zubair Shahzad Kayani in the Accountability Court of Lahore heard the case of alleged corruption in development projects.
During the hearing, the lawyers of the former Chief Minister of Punjab filed a request for a one-day attendance waiver, which was accepted by the court.
The court adjourned further hearing on the reference till November 20 while summoning the lawyers for arguments on the jurisdiction.
