Islamabad: Pakistan has reported 40 coronavirus deaths and 1,008 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.

According to National Command and Control Center (NCOC), around 1,008 cases of coronavirus were reported while 40 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 12,066.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 556,519.
As many as 556,519 patients have recovered from the disease with 12,066 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of coronavirus patients has reached 42,080 with 480 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infection has surged to 251,434 in the province, whereas the province has reported 4,132 deaths.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 68,625 while the death toll has surged to 1,964 in KPK.
Balochistan
There are 18,877 confirmed cases while 196 patients died of the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 9,238 coronavirus cases in AJK while the death toll has reached 273. On the other hand, there are 4,918 cases in GB with 102 deaths.
Islamabad
There are 41,994 cases in the capital city while 480 people have lost their lives.
