Karachi: The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has decided to impose a fine of Rs15,000 on individuals violating one-way traffic rules on the city's main roads.
The aim of this initiative is to prevent traffic law violations and ensure the safety of citizens. The fines will be enforced through city wardens.
This decision has been made on the directives of Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab and the Karachi Task Force.
A resolution regarding this will be presented in the upcoming council meeting to formally implement the decision.
The Mayor of Karachi stated that strict measures are essential to improve traffic flow and prevent accidents.
He also appealed to the public to follow traffic rules and cooperate with the administration to ensure safe travel within the city.
