Israel’s war on Gaza has entered its 721st day, with over 65,400 people killed and nearly 167,400 injured

(Web Desk): Nobel laureate and British-Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai has announced a $100,000 grant from her Malala Fund to support Palestinian refugees.
Malala arrived in Cairo, Egypt, this week to meet with Palestinian refugees who were forced to flee Gaza following intense Israeli military operations.
The activist visited the International Network for Aid, Relief and Assistance (INARA), an organization that provides Palestinians with shelter, medical care, education, and mental health support.
During her visit, Malala met with children receiving care through INARA and announced a $100,000 grant to support the organization’s efforts.
Sharing her experience on Instagram, Malala said that despite her extensive work with children, this was the first time every single child she met was either physically injured, had lost a close relative, or had witnessed their home being destroyed by bombings.
She stated that Palestinian children are the most affected victims of what she described as Israel’s genocide.
Malala spoke of meeting a three-year-old girl who lost her siblings while fleeing Gaza with her mother, a young girl who expressed a desire to see her father again, and another traumatized girl who was receiving therapy from INARA and was unable to speak without mental health support.
Malala stressed that the crisis can only end if the war stops, and urged the global community to continue demanding an end to the genocide and to support the victims.
She also appealed to world leaders to put pressure on Israel to end the siege on Gaza, open checkpoints for humanitarian aid, and implement a permanent ceasefire.
This announcement comes just a month after Malala pledged $3 million in grants for girls' education and women's rights in Afghanistan, distributed among ten organizations working within Afghanistan and abroad.
Meanwhile, Israel’s war on Gaza has entered its 721st day, with over 65,400 people killed and nearly 167,400 injured.
