Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the fourth wave of coronavirus amid threat of highly contagious Indian delta variant.


According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 3,084 cases of coronavirus were reported while 65 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 24,848.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 1,119,970.
As many as 1,006,078 patients have recovered from the disease with 5,151 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 378,288 in the province with 11,505 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 418,478 in the province, while the death toll has reached 6,566.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 155,712 in the province with 4,750 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 31,781 confirmed cases while 335 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 30,423 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 675. On the other hand, there are 9,579 cases in GB with 169 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 95,709 cases in the capital city while 848 people have lost their lives.
