Terrorists from Afghan side target Pakistan Army checkpost in Lower Dir
Lower Dir: One terrorist was killed and three others wounded inside Afghanistan after security forces retaliated fire on its military checkpost from the other side of the border on late Thursday.
The firing commited by terrorists left Hawaldar Gull Amir martyred, says a press relaese issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
"Terrorists from inside Afghanistan across the international border, opened fire on a military post in Lower Dir District. Own troops responded in a befitting manner," read a statement by the military's media wing.
Gull, 36, was a resident of Laki Marwat.
