Islamabad: Pakistan has reported 33 coronavirus deaths and 1,315 new positive cases in one day.

As second wave continues, Pakistan reports 33 deaths, 1315 cases

 

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 1,315 cases of coronavirus were reported while 33 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 12,837.

The total number of confirmed cases reached to 578,797.

As many as 544,406 patients have recovered from the disease with 1,538 critical cases.

Punjab                                                 

After sharp increase in cases, the number of patients swelled to 170,817 in the province. The province reported 5,337 causalities.

Sindh

The number of infections has surged to 257,730 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,335.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The confirmed cases have surged to 72,003 in the province with 2,070 casualties.

Balochistan

There are 19,038 confirmed cases while 200 patients have died from the infection so far.

AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan

There are 10,147 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 297. On the other hand, there are 4,956 cases in GB with 102 coronavirus deaths.

Islamabad

There are 44,106 cases in the capital city while 496 people have lost their lives.
