Using ‘screen’ before going to bed is harmful
Amid increase of gadgets usage among children and adults, experts have alarmed over the extensive use of mobile phones or laptops before going to sleep.

According to a research, using any type of screen—a phone’s or any other device’s due to its bright light eyes are badly affected. Further the dangerous rays in turn distress the production of the sleep-promoting hormone— melatonin.
This makes it even more difficult to fall asleep and wake up the next day. The circadian rhythm (sleep-wake cycle.) seems to be especially sensitive to blue light since it has a short wavelength. Studies also show that exposure to blue light can cause damage to your retinas.
Further, the researchers believe, it is best to stop using the screens a half an hour before going to bed.
According to a study, by 2050, half of the world's population will wear glasses and smartphones will be the root of this worrying trend. The study, which collected data from 1995 to 2018, found a significant increase in the number of people wearing spectacles and mostly reported screens as the main reason.
