Pakistan is hosting the 48th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC-CFM)


Islamabad: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib said on Tuesday that today was a historic day under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan as the second meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was being held in Pakistan within the last three months.
Using his Twitter handle, Farrukh Habib said in December 2021 a special OIC session was convened on the situation in Afghanistan and now the 48th session of the OIC Foreign Ministers Council meeting was being hosted by Pakistan.

It is pertinent to remember that Pakistan is hosting the 48th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC-CFM) to discuss issues affecting the Islamic world.
The two-day Ministerial Conference’s theme is ‘Partnering for Unity, Justice, and Development.’
More than 100 resolutions will be considered during the two-day session.
