"Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Indian Illegally-Occupied Kashmir (IIOK) was tantamount to rubbing salt on the wounds of Kashmiris"

Srinagar: Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) will observe black day today (Sunday) when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi undertakes his first visit to occupied Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), there will be a complete strike in the valley on the occasion of Indian Prime Minister Modi's visit to occupied Kashmir, the call for a strike has been given by the All Party Hurriyat Conference.
The Hurriyat Conference said in a statement that Kashmiris reject India's illegal occupation of the occupied valley, while Narendra Modi's visit to occupied Kashmir will be accompanied by protests against Indian crimes.
On the other hand, after assuming the office of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) prime minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas said that Kashmiris will observe the day as a black day.
The newly-elected Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Sardar said that the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Indian Illegally-Occupied Kashmir (IIOK) was tantamount to rubbing salt on the wounds of Kashmiris.
Citing the continued bloodshed and violence in the disputed region, Sardar Ilyas said that it was incumbent upon the United Nations to play its much-needed role to stop the systematic genocide of Kashmiris at the hands of Indian occupation forces.
