PSY, BTS’ Suga’s new collab “That That” becomes a phenomenon; sweeps iTunes charts
The phenomenon song titled ‘That That’, is topping all global charts—with fans in awe of PSY's devious plan to get BTS’s Suga on board.
Seoul: The highly-anticipated collaboration between South Korean singer Park Jae-sang aka PSY, and Suga, a member of global sensation BTS—titled That That— is dominating iTunes charts across the globe.
As per details, PSY returned with his ninth album “Ssada9”—first in five years— along with the music video for the title track featuring K-pop band BTS rapper Suga.
Reportedly, the song was number one on iTunes Top Songs list in at least 73 countries including United States, Japan, and Canada.
The album also reached No 1 on iTunes Top Albums in several countries.
The record has been produced and written by Min Yoongi (Suga) along with PSY.
The music video (MV) has already garnered over 28 million views on YouTube in lower than 24 hours of its release.
By Friday afternoon, the official MV had already been viewed more than 13 million times and was at No. 2 for trending music on streaming giant.
In the Western-themed music video, the two stars are shown dressed in a series of snazzy cowboy outfits bopping along an energetic group of backup dancers.
The duo also hang out at a saloon as they sing along to the track's catchy, overlapping beat.
Moreover, the song celebrates the end of the pandemic and of things going back to normal.
The response to the song has been significant, and both the ARMY and PSY’s huge fan base has joined in applauding the song and the two artistes.
