Chairman WAPDA resigns from his post for personal reasons
Mr Hussain had been appointed to the post on Aug 24, 2016
Lahore: Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Chairman Lieutenant General (Retd) Muzammil Hussain has resigned from his post on personal grounds, GNN reported on Saturday.
He sent his resignation to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and cited personal issues for his decision to quit the office.
Mr Hussain had been appointed to the post on Aug 24, 2016 by the then prime minister Nawaz Sharif and later in August 2021, the Ministry of Water Resources appointed him for a second consecutive term of five years.
