Lahore court sends Dua Zahra to shelter home
Dua tells court that her life is in danger from her parents who used to beat her in the past
Lahore: A local court sent Dua Zahra -- who ran away from her Karachi home to marry her choice -- to a shelter home in Lahore on Tuesday.
Zahra appeared in the local magistrate's court in Lahore, narrated that she was under constant threat to her life from her parents who used to beat her.
Dua Zahra further told the court that parents were threatening her with dangerous consequences, so she wanted to go to Darul Aman for her safety.
The court accepted Dua Zahra's request and sent her to Darul Aman.
