PM, President reiterate Pakistan's firm resolve to eradicate menace of terrorism
December 16 will always remind us of the great sacrifices of the martyrs of Army Public School.


Islamabad: President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Friday reiterated Pakistan's firm resolve to completely eradicate menace of terrorism.
President said the entire nation is united to eradicate the remnants of terrorism.
In his message on the occasion of 8th anniversary of Army Public School (APS) attack, he said no act of terrorism can weaken our resolve against this menace.
The President said the 16th of December will always remind us of the great sacrifices of the martyrs of Army Public School. He said even after eight years, the memory of this heartbreaking incident is still fresh in our hearts.
Arif Alvi said this day is also a reminder to the international community that terrorism is a common problem for all of us and we must accelerate our efforts to eliminate it from the world.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated Pakistan's firm resolve to completely eradicate the menace of terrorism.
In his tweets on Friday on the occasion of 8th anniversary of Army Public School tragedy, he said this day gives a message to the whole world that Pakistan has rendered immense sacrifices to eradicate terrorism.
He said our struggle is continuing and it will continue with the same iron will and perseverance until the complete elimination of this menace.
Shehbaz Sharif said the 16th December reminds the entire nation of the pain and agony of the terrorist act that took place in Army Public School, Peshawar. Even after several years, this pain has not been forgotten.
The Prime Minister said this is the day to pay tribute to the martyrs of the tragedy and share the grief of their families. He said Pakistani nation will never forget the sacrifices of its martyrs.
