“DDLJ is defining film of our generation,” Ranbir praises Yash Chopra’s work
The reaction comes at the moment when ‘Romantics’—a tribute to Yash Chopra for his contribution in the Indian cinema, is all set to hit the screen on February 14.
Mumbai: Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor on Sunday called Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge as defining film of the new generation.
“I can’t even tell you that feeling is still alive inside me. It influenced the way I dressed,” said Ranbir in a the latest teaser for the romantics.
He also said, “It influenced the way I spoke to a girl and it influenced how I was with my parents…..everything,”.
As many as 35 leading personalities would be featured in the ‘Romantics’ to pay tribute to Yash Raj Films.

From Aamir Khan to Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan to Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan to Ranveer Singh, Rani Mukerji to Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif to Anushka Sharma, the four-part docu-series would feature the favorite stars. Besides it, Aditya Chopra would give the first-ever interview on-screen in the upcoming series too!
The Romantics, which is set to release on February 14, is a tribute to Yash Chopra also known as the Father of Romance in the local film industry.
Oscar & Emmy-nominated filmmaker Smriti Mundhra – who is behind successful series like Indian Matchmaking and Never Have I Ever, directed Romantics.
