PM expresses grief over Zia Mohyeddin’s demise
He stated that the voice of the actor will continue to resonate in our minds.
Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Monday expressed condolences on the death of prominent actor, singer and TV host Zia Mohyeddin stating that his voice will continue to echo in our minds.
In a statement, Prime Minister said that Zia was a work of art, his distinctive style created a sensation all over the world including Pakistan, adding that, “It is a pity that a person with many beautiful qualities left the world”.
Shehbaz Sharif stated that the voice of the actor will continue to resonate in our minds. We pay tribute to Zia Mohyeddin abilities and his services. “May Allah raise the ranks of the deceased and give patience to the bereaved,” he prayed.
It is pertinent to note that prominent actor, director and TV host Zia Mohyeddin Monday passed away at the age of 91 in Karachi.
His funeral prayer will be offered today after Zuhr prayer in Defense Phase IV at Imambargah Yasrab.
