President Arif Alvi calls for promoting clean, environment friendly transportation in country.


Islamabad: President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi has called for the promotion of clean and environment-friendly transportation in Pakistan to combat pollution and foster a cleaner, greener nation.
During a meeting with a delegation from a local electric bike manufacturing company, the President emphasized that adopting green transportation solutions can significantly reduce carbon emissions, environmental pollution, and Pakistan's reliance on fossil fuel imports.
Senior officials from the federal ministries of industries and production, as well as climate change, also attended the meeting, according to a press release from the President's House.
President Alvi highlighted the importance of efficient and climate-friendly transportation technology in reducing environmental pollution and transitioning away from traditional fuels.
He further emphasized that modern transport technologies can play a vital role in promoting new industries, creating employment opportunities for the youth, and improving the overall socio-economic condition of Pakistan.
