Dr Nadia Aziz bid farewell to politics, stands with Pakistani Army.


Lahore: In a press conference, PTI leader Dr. Nadia Aziz bid farewell to politics, citing her commitment to clean and non-violent politics.
Expressing her views on recent events, she stated that she could no longer continue in politics.
Dr. Nadia Aziz announced her retirement from politics for the time being.
During her address, Dr. Nadia Aziz emphasized the significance of the Pakistani army, stating that it is beloved by the nation.
She denounced any defamation against the army, highlighting the sacrifices made by mothers who have lost their sons in the service of the country.
She declared her support for the Pakistani army, emphasizing the importance of Pakistan's safety and protection.
Addressing the incidents that took place on May 9th in Sargodha and other cities at the monuments of the martyrs, Dr. Nadia Aziz condemned the violence and made it clear that she was not involved in any such vandalism.
She expressed her commitment to peaceful means and assured me that she would never participate in any form of violence.
Responding to questions from reporters, Dr. Nadia Aziz clarified that she hails from Sargodha and won an election in 2002. She stated that she has never spoken against the army, nor have any of her team members.
When asked about recent protests, she stressed the need to condemn such incidents and called for officials to respect the dignity of women protestors.
Dr. Nadia Aziz clarified that she was not involved in any protests as she had received bail in anti-corruption cases, and her brother was released from jail on that day.
Regarding the possibility of switching parties, she remarked that politicians often engage in politics or switch to other parties.
However, she asserted that she has no intentions of joining another party and stands by her decision to retire from politics.
