15-20% increase in the salaries of government employees is expected in the budget.


Karachi: The budget of Sindh for the next financial year will be presented today (Saturday).
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah will present the budget of the province in the Sindh Assembly.
According to reports, 15-20% increase in the salaries of government employees is expected, while the development budget is proposed to be 410 billion rupees.
More than Rs12.52 billion will be allocated for the ongoing mega projects of Karachi while it is proposed to allocate 30 billion rupees for the district development budget.
Apart from this, it is also proposed to increase the grant of local councils, while it is proposed to allocate Rs1 trillion 65 billion for school education development projects and it is proposed to allocate Rs65.80 billion for the development budget of college education.
