Chiniot: Fake and unregistered bottles were being sold in the cafeteria of DHQ Hospital, raising concerns about public health.
Punjab Food Authority conducted a surprise raid on the cafeteria of DHQ Hospital in Chiniot, where they discovered fake and unregistered bottles being sold to the public.
The Food Safety team caught the sale of counterfeit and unverified water bottles, which posed a health risk to patients and their families.
Cafeteria was found to have inadequate hygiene practices and an infestation of insects.
The authorities have taken immediate action by shutting down the cafeteria and initiating a thorough cleaning and investigation process.
