Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, rejected Imran Khan's claim of an American conspiracy leading to the current government's formation.

In a recent interview with the media, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif firmly stated that there is no truth to Imran Khan's assertion of an American conspiracy.

He further emphasized that the government's establishment was not influenced by any foreign plot, adding that neither low oil prices from Russia nor restored ties with China were involved in such allegations.

Prime Minister Sharif clarified that the Chief of Army Staff and intelligence chiefs also affirmed that no conspiracy had taken place.

Moreover, he highlighted that Ambassador Asad Majeed had confirmed in a meeting with Donald Lu that no conspiracy was discussed.

The United States was not involved in any clandestine plan against the former Pakistani Prime Minister.

The U.S. Department of State spokesperson, Matthew Miller, once again refuted these allegations during a news conference.

He reiterated that previous Pakistani ambassadors had already stated that these accusations are baseless.

The PM emphasized that he cannot discuss private conversations with Pakistani diplomats.
