The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will proudly inaugurate this historic feat by launching a direct flight from Dubai to Skardu on the forthcoming Independence Day.


Skardu: The newly operationalized runway at Skardu International Airport has signaled the start of international flight operations on Sunday.
The region witnessed the triumphant landing of the inaugural flight, signaling the dawning of a transformative chapter for Skardu and Pakistan’s aviation landscape.
Furthermore, as the new runway welcomed its first international aircraft, the result of arduous work and careful planning was realized, setting an important precedent for the region's development.
The National Operation and Maintenance Company (Notim) announced that operationalization had been given the go-ahead, sending a surge of enthusiasm and a sense of accomplishment through the aviation community.
On the upcoming Independence Day, the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will formally debut this historic achievement by beginning a direct trip from Dubai to Skardu.
The historic flight, which took off from Dubai, represents a turning point in Pakistani aviation history. Abdullah Khan, a PIA spokesperson, emphasized the enormous importance of this project and emphasized that these foreign flights from Skardu are a historic first in Pakistan's history.
