Lahore: Rizwana, a young maid who was victim of violence at the house of Officer on Special Duty (OSD)-designated civil judge Asim Hafeez, recorded her statement to the police, reported.
According to media reports, Rizwana said in her statement: “Judge's wife used to torture me daily, she used to beat me with sticks, iron rods and other things, she kicked and slapped me in anger”.
It is reported that Rizwana said that Judge Asim's wife used to hit her head against the wall by holding her hair. I was locked in the room for several days and kept hungry, if the family went out, she added.
The young housekeeper stated: “I was not allowed to meet my parents, they used to talk on the phone, but the judge's wife was with me and threatened me to tell the family about violence”. They didn't even apply ointment to her injuries.
Police stated that Judge Asim Hafeez has not yet appeared before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT).
It is pertinent to note that earlier on yesterday (Thursday) the sister and grandmother of the girl Rizwana told private news channel that civil judge Asim also used to torture the girl and locked her in the house for many days while going out for vacations.
