Islamabad: Pakistan has reported 119 Covid-related fatalities and 4,113 new cases in one day as country is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 4,113 cases of coronavirus were reported while 119 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 18,429.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 841,636.
As many as 738,727 patients have recovered from the disease with 5,211 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 310,616 in the province with 8,741 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 287,643 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,687.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 121,099 in the province with 3,466 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 22,776 confirmed cases while 239 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 17,465 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 491. On the other hand, there are 5,341 cases in GB with 107 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 76,696 cases in the capital city while 698 people have lost their lives.
