Pakistan Peoples Party has given a seven-day deadline to respond to the show cause notice.
Islamabad: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has taken disciplinary action by issuing a show cause notice to Sardar Latif Khosa.
As per the details, the party has questioned Sardar Latif Khosa's role in assisting leaders from a rival political party without prior communication or approval from the PPP.
The notice highlights that Latif Khosa holds a position in the Central Executive Committee of the PPP and has been actively involved in aiding cases of leaders from another political entity without seeking the party's consent.
Furthermore, the show cause notice specifies that the leader of the second party has been convicted in corruption cases, and Latif Khosa's involvement in these cases has drawn criticism from the state during a recent address at the Bar Convention.
Sardar Latif Khosa has been given a seven-day deadline to respond to the show cause notice.
Failure to provide a satisfactory response within this period may result in disciplinary measures, including the termination of his basic membership within the party.
The show cause notice has been issued by Nayar Bukhari, the Secretary General of the Pakistan Peoples Party.
