Canada rejects India's travel advisory
Media reports added that Indians traveling to Canada were also asked to be cautious there.
Ottawa: Canada has rejected the travel advisory issued by the Indian government for its citizens residing in Canada.
According to details, Canada's Public Safety Ministry responded after India issued a travel advisory saying that Canada is a safe country for all people.
It is pertinent to note that India had issued an advisory for its citizens after the tension between India and Canada due to murder of a Sikh leader Hardeep Singh in Canada.
According to the Indian media, advisory issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Indians were advised to be careful about the increasing anti-India activities in Canada.
Media reports added that Indians traveling to Canada were also asked to be cautious there, in the advisory.
The Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said diplomats have been targeted for opposing the anti-India agenda in Canada, therefore Indian citizens should avoid traveling to certain areas of Canada.
