Islamabad: The accountability court of former first lady Busha Bibi in Toshakhana case and 190 million pounds Al-Qadir Trust scandal has been extended till November 15.
According to details, Accountability Court of Islamabad judge Muhammad Bashir held a hearing on former Prime Minister Imran Kahn’s wife Bushra Bibi's bail appeal in Toshakhana and 190 million pound scandal case.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor stated in the court that Bushra Bibi has applied for bail for the third time, while the last two bail pleas were dismissed.
NAB representative also said that Bushra Bibi's arrest is not required, she has filed the bail plea on the same ground.
Bushra Bibi's lawyer pleaded in the court that at least she should be notified first.
The investigating officer of NAB submitted his statement in the accountability court saying that the arrest of Bushra is not required, on which the accused’s lawyer took the stand that efforts are being made to file cases against Bushra Bibi.
Later, the accountability court of Islamabad extended the bail till November 15 in both the cases of Bushra Bibi and postponed further hearing of the case.
