California:Taylor Swift, the reigning artist on various streaming platforms in 2023, has achieved an extraordinary milestone by surpassing $100 million in earnings from Spotify alone this year.
Billboard reports that Swift, who dominated the streaming charts with an impressive 26.1 billion streams to date, is expected to earn approximately $97 million in royalties from Spotify. When factoring in estimated streams for the remaining month, this figure is anticipated to exceed $100 million.
Publishing revenue is poised to elevate the total earnings to an astonishing $131 million, solely from Spotify, the leading streaming service.
The recognition of Taylor Swift as the top artist of 2023 by Spotify, alongside Apple Music, demonstrates her continued dominance in the industry.
This accolade places her above three-time champion Bad Bunny, as well as other prominent artists like the Weeknd, Drake, and Peso Pluma.
In response to Spotify's acknowledgment, Swift graciously met the honor by fulfilling a high demand among fans – releasing a much-anticipated track on various streaming services.
However, Swift's financial success extends beyond Spotify. Across all major music streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube, her estimated revenue stands at around $160 million.
Moreover, with publishing revenue taken into account, the grand total surges close to $200 million.
