Info Minister pledges improved transition, fair elections

Islamabad: Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has reassured the public that the country is poised to be handed over to the next elected government in a notably improved state under the current caretaker administration.
Speaking at a program of private news channel, he underscored the pivotal role of the Election Commission of Pakistan in conducting transparent and fair elections, emphasizing their consistent commitment to constitutional and legal responsibilities since the inception of their mandate.
He also commended the Election Commission of Pakistan for releasing the election schedule as promised, highlighting their commendable provision of a 54-day window for election campaigns, ensuring equal opportunities for all registered political parties.
Expressing the caretaker government's dedication to adhering to the stipulations set by the Election Commission, Murtaza Solangi emphasized the commitment to carrying out their responsibilities with impartiality.
The Minister acknowledged the democratic right of political parties to voice their dissent within defined parameters, asserting that the caretaker government recognizes and respects the importance of peaceful protests.
